Story: An ex-RFC pilot attempts to earn his living in dead-end flying jobs and is then recruited by the Russians to fly spying missions over Portsmouth Harbour. He crash lands and takes refuge with an ex-comrade who eventually uses his aircraft to track down the villains in the South of France  
Locations: The English South Downs and Portsmouth. Russia and a long-range flight to England. A long-range flight to the South of France.
